William Bennett sounding like he's a psychopath is nothing new, especially in the early period of Whitehouse. However, his performance on the first live Whitehouse recording showcases him taking his vocals to a vicious extreme that goes beyond anything he was able to muster up on the studio albums from the Come Organisation era. While the noise here feels somewhat weaker due to the recording equipment not being on par with the studio they used for their albums, Bennett's vicious and unforgiving screams set the tone and make Live Action 1 an essential release for diehard fans of Whitehouse.
